Here is a Video from YouTube…. Maya Angelou and Elmo.

Ten in the Bed

There were ten in the bed,
And the little one said
“roll over, roll over”

So they all rolled over
And one fell out

So
There were nine in the bed,
And the little one said
“roll over, roll over”

So they all rolled over
And one fell out

So
There were (8,7,6,5,4,3,2) in the bed,
And the little one said
“roll over, roll over”

So
There was one in the bed
And the little one said
“Good night!”

I have also heard the last verse have the words “I’m Lonely” or “I’m Lonesome” in it:

So
There was one in a bed
and the little one said
“I’m lonely”

There was one the in the bed,
And the little one said, “I’m lonesome. Come Back!”

You can add in a child’s name like this:

There were five in the bed,
And the little one said, “Roll over. I’m crowded.”
So they all rolled over and (insert child’s name) fell
out.

There were four (three, two) in the bed,
And the little one said, “Roll over. I’m crowded.”
So they all rolled over and (insert child’s name) fell
out.

K-I-S-S-I-N-G

From my memory:

—— and —— (* Names a boy and girl *)
Sitting in a tree.
K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
First comes love,
Then comes marriage,
The comes the baby
with the baby carriage.

Some small differences…

—— and —— (* Names a boy and girl *)
Sitting in a tree.
K-I-S-S-I-N-G.
First comes love,
Then comes marriage,
Then comes (another kids names)
With a baby carriage.

Oh look at this. I found another verse.

(Girl’s name) and (boy’s name) sitting in the tree
K-i-s-s-i-n-g! (spell it out)
First comes love.
Then comes marriage.
Then comes baby in the baby carriage,
Sucking his thumb,
Wetting his pants,
Doing the hula, hula dance!
